We are an established multi-trade building, renovations, and maintenance company seeking an experienced Residential Building Supervisor to join our team. Our service areas range throughout Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and Gold Coast. We specialise in renovations and repair work and have an excellent reputation in this field. This is a new role and will be evolving as the company continues to grow.About the role:As a Building Supervisor, your day-to-day duties will include, but are not limited to, supervising the construction process. You'll work closely with team staff, sub-contractors, and suppliers to ensure timely and high-standard delivery of our work, providing leadership and sub-contractor management.Supervision: Liaise with our trade base, allocating, scheduling, inspecting, and supervising sub-contractor's work to meet Australian Standards and our internal quality standards and practices. Oversee trade activities to ensure work is being completed to a high standard within allocated time frames.Quoting: Quoting on variations and new jobs.Coordination: Arrange timely supply of materials and tradespeople to avoid delays.Compliance: Uphold building codes, practices, and health and safety policies. Ensure all staff are following all safety standards, including the completion of SWMS paperwork.Site Maintenance: Ensure the worksite is safe, clean, and presentable.Problem Solving: Promptly report discrepancies, maintenance concerns, and lost/stolen items.Reporting: Provide updates to Directors as required.Qualifications and Experience Required:Experience: Considerable experience in building supervision within residential construction. Strong understanding of building regulations, codes, and OHS Standards.Licensing: QBCC Site Supervisor (Low Rise or Trade Specific).Education: Certificate IV in Building & Construction (Building) highly regarded.Certifications: Construction Induction (white card) and Current First Aid.Driving: Current Australian Drivers Licence.Police Check: Current certificate.Other: Ability to work in a team or independently.Exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership and motivational skills, good work ethic, punctuality, neat presentation, and good communication skills (both oral and written) are essential.Benefits of working for us:You will be working for an expanding company that employs an exceptional team valuing quality craftsmanship.
