We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic Domestic Workers to provide quality domestic (cleaning) in-home care services to our aged customers in the southern and western suburbs of metropolitan Adelaide.

5 - 20 hours per week based on availability)Current hourly rate starts at $30.61Day shifts – Shift times between 7am – 8pmNot for Profit Salary Sacrifice available – Increase your take-home payPaid kilometres and travelPositions starting ASAPAbout the Role UnitingCare Wesley Bowden (UCWB) is looking for individuals who are able to demonstrate previous success in providing excellent domestic work (cleaning) services to support our aged care customers.

Our Domestic Workers are accountable to the Manager, Service Delivery and Support and are responsible for providing support to individuals and their families to remain independent in living their life the way they choose, in their community.
Services that are provided by our Domestic Workers include:
Cleaning of bathrooms, laundries, living areas, bedroomsSpring cleaningLaundry – washing, hanging, folding and ironingBed makingYou will receive a tailored and comprehensive onboarding and induction process that will introduce you to our organisation and prepare you for the role.
About You You will be someone who is sensitive to the particular needs of vulnerable people, including the aged, people with intellectual and physical disabilities, and their networks and families.
You will have:
Ability to work independentlyCurrent DHS Working with Children Clearance and a National Police Clearance or ability to obtain prior to commencement of employmentCurrent driver's licenceAvailability to work across a variety of shifts on weekdaysOwn transportWillingness and ability to perform domestic tasksExcellent interpersonal skillsPhysical fitness appropriate for duties being undertakenA commitment to the program's success and to attend relevant trainingThe ability to communicate and use a smart phone/tablet for telephone and electronic communicationWhat you need to know UCWB values the rich experiences that lived and living experience brings to the workforce.
