Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical / dental practitioners for the above position in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.

The position will be primarily located at Blue Mountains ANZAC Memorial Hospital within the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology.

Minimum Requirements :
Possess registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Possess Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RANZCOG) or equivalent specialist recognition.
Sound clinical knowledge in Obstetrics & Gynaecology demonstrated through successful clinical practice.
High level interpersonal and communication skills and demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Demonstrated commitment to teaching and junior medical staff supervision.
Demonstrates leadership and negotiation skills appropriate for practice as a Senior Medical Practitioner.
Commitment and / or experience in clinical research and quality improvement.
Proven understanding and demonstrated capacity to comply with the service objectives of the public health organisation.
Conditions of appointment are in accordance with the Health Services Act 1997, and Staff Specialists (State) Award.
