The Forest Hotel, a cornerstone of Northern Sydney's social scene, is seeking a dynamic Venue Manager to take the reins of this iconic pub and lead it into its next chapter of success.
It is more than just a pub; it's a landmark Known for its vibrant atmosphere, exceptional food and beverage offerings, and premier entertainment, this is one of Northern Sydney's most sought-after destinations.
With expansive spaces, multiple bars, and dining areas, The Forest Hotel caters to a diverse and discerning clientele.
As Venue Manager, you will be the operational and strategic leader of this high-volume, multifaceted venue.
Your expertise will ensure seamless operations, outstanding guest experiences, and continued growth.
What you'll do: Be a motivational and inspiring leader, develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience every time.Manage the day-to-day operations of the Venue - open / close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering and assisting guests.Bring your passion for good food and creating moments that matter for our guests.Be creative - develop and grow the business through your own initiatives.What you'll need: Strong customer focus with the ability to get to know our locals and what they love.Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to inspire & develop your team to provide exceptional experiences.Proven experience running or assisting in the running of a multifaceted venue.Ability to use financial and business acumen coupled with operational experience to effectively deliver the venue's operational targets and vision.Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills including working in a matrix organisation.Industry licences and accreditation: RSA, RCG and Advanced Responsible Conduct of Gambling for NSW.Able to qualify to meet the state liquor licensing nominee / liquor appointee requirements.The benefits are good too An exclusive discount card for our ALH Hotels pubs & accommodation, BWS, Dan Murphy's and other Endeavour Group brands.As a valued member of the team, your health and wellbeing is our top priority.
