Emanate Technology is partnering with a private sector consultancy celebrated for its excellence in delivering advisory and IT solutions to both public and private sector clients.
They are looking for an experienced Senior Data Consultant to drive transformative data and technology projects across diverse client engagements.
About the Role:
As a Senior Data Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing end-to-end data solutions across cloud platforms, including AWS and Azure.
This role requires a strong command of modern data engineering platforms and cloud technologies.
You will be responsible for designing scalable data architectures, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery in a consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities: Data Architecture & Strategy: Design and implement robust, scalable data architectures across cloud platforms.Develop best practices, standards, and governance frameworks for data management.Solution Delivery: Build and manage data solutions using tools like Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and Power BI.Create efficient data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and delivery of quality data.Optimise and automate data processes and reporting mechanisms.Ensure project delivery adheres to timelines, budgets, and quality benchmarks.Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand business challenges and provide tailored data strategies.Lead workshops, deliver technical presentations, and provide thought leadership in data and cloud technologies.Qualifications & Skills: Data Platforms & Tools: Advanced knowledge of Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and related platforms.Programming Proficiency: Expert in Python for data manipulation, ETL processes, and scripting.Data Visualisation: Demonstrated ability to create impactful dashboards using Power BI.Architecture & Leadership: Proven experience in architecting and leading the delivery of complex data solutions.Consulting Expertise: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a history of successful client engagement.Project Management: Skilled at managing multiple projects with a focus on timely and quality delivery.Certification in Databricks (e.g., Data Engineer) or Azure (e.g., Azure Data Engineer Associate).Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and other BI tools (e.g., Tableau, QlikView).Benefits: Flexible hybrid work arrangements (2–3 days in the office or client site).Comprehensive employee recognition and wellbeing platform.Clear career progression through mentorship and internal promotions.Ongoing professional development, including certification support.Paid parental leave and support for carers.Access to a mental health and wellbeing Employee Assistance Program.Referral incentives as part of an employee referral program.How to Apply:
