Queensland family-owned company, the Comiskey Group recently opened The Doonan, adding another iconic venue to their portfolio alongside Eatons Hill Hotel and Sandstone Point Hotel and Resort. With a history spanning over 30 years, the group remains consistently at the forefront of industry innovation.
THE VENUE: The Doonan is a stunning new venue based just 20 mins outside of Noosa. Set on 2.4 hectares within the picturesque Sunshine Coast hinterland, just a stone's throw from famous local beaches.
The Doonan is renowned for its exceptionally aesthetic alfresco dining experience, offering a unique and beautiful setting, unlike anything else. Coupled with a high-quality food and drink menu in a relaxed yet luxurious ambiance, The Doonan breaks away from traditional dining norms.
Open 7 days a week, The Doonan is a destination for locals and tourists alike: boasting indoor/outdoor dining, bars, beer gardens, a retail outlet, multiple function spaces and a large outdoor kids playground all in a unique garden setting, with impressive designer landscaping.
ABOUT YOU: An incredible opportunity awaits an exceptional General Manager to lead and work in all aspects of our diverse range of services. This position has prospects for career development and the opportunity to continue your path in our ever-changing environment. The General Manager's role is to manage all aspects of the business from people, product, training, guest experience and finance.
The General Manager will have a strong Food and Beverage focus and lead our front and back-of-house staff during key service periods, ensuring we continue to always deliver industry best practices and service. The role requires availability both day and night and weekend work. It is not for the faint-hearted but will be a career-defining opportunity for the right applicant.
