Technical Sales Representative - Resilient Line Products Founded in 1937 in Milan, Mapei is a leading global chemical manufacturing company servicing the global construction industry.
Mapei has contributed to the construction of some of the most important architectural and infrastructural works worldwide.
With a 4 billion Euro turnover in 2022, Mapei employs more than 12,000 staff worldwide.
In Australia, the state-of-the-art plant in Brisbane produces over 57 thousand tons of product each year and up to 15 million litres of liquid product.
The facility also houses R&D, quality control laboratories, and a training centre to develop industry technical expertise.
About the Opportunity
Due to ongoing growth, a great opportunity has become available as a Technical Sales Representative – South Australia in our Resilient Line of products.
This is a varied role where a good understanding of commercial and residential flooring systems, including floor preparation is a must.
Your primary focus will be on strengthening our position in this market through our solid customer network.
Working under the direction of the State Sales Manager, you will be given the opportunity to establish and further grow our Resilient Line products across the state.
The Role
Promote Mapei products and their technical advantages to all existing and new clientele Perform duties within the structure of Mapei Australia's policies (e.g.
sales, pricing, expenses etc) Provide accurate project forecasting to the State Sales Manager for planning purposes Attend construction site meetings and offer sound technical assistance to all involved parties Travel to outer regions 4 times a year Increase Mapei's footprint with new customers and increased sales within your territory Gain project specifications through various means About You
Minimum 5 years' experience within the flooring industry Project management or estimating experience advantageous Ability to assist/organize training events Reliable and honest Ability to build quick rapport with people A strong customer service delivery focus Language & Other Skills
