As we continue to expand, we are on the hunt for an Estimating Manager to join the team.
Key accountabilities Leading and mentoring the Estimating team to deliver high quality, timely, and accurate outcomes.
Lead critical meetings with Estimating and Operations Team to agree on strategy, content, and actions.
Dissect questions to develop high quality proposals.
Translate complex, technical solutions, strategies, and themes into easily understandable, readable, and compelling bid documents.
Guide those involved in the tender process, provide timely advice on the selection of appropriate projects, review and improve construction methodologies that win tenders.
Review, edit, and contribute material for case studies and award submissions.
Assist with the identification and selection of partners, specialists, and subcontractors.
Create and maintain strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
Challenge and review bid processes to enhance preconstruction best practice.
Support Senior management in sustainable workflow.
Manage and report pipeline of tendering/opportunity tracking.
Leverage broader business to support overall capability for tender submission.
Provide and lead review and feedback across business to refine tenders.
About You This position would suit a candidate who possesses the following:
Relevant experience in estimating and leading teams.
Relevant experience in commercial frameworks for contract negotiations and identifying Risk & Opportunities.
Relevant experience in estimating tools and systems.
Good communicator with the ability to combine both creativeness and practicality.
Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with all project stakeholders.
Ability to lead, motivate, and develop project teams to deliver quality competitive construction proposals.
Ability to identify win themes and lead response planning effectively.
Able to think laterally and problem-solve effectively under deadline pressure.
Keen eye for detail and desire to continuously drive the standards of the team's systems and output.
