Estimating Manager

PPS Water Group is seeking a motivated and experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimation processes and deliver accurate, high-quality estimates that drive project success.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role is essential in guiding our estimating team, developing robust estimating procedures, and identifying both risk and revenue opportunities.

Key Responsibilities : Oversee and manage the estimation process, ensuring timely, accurate, and comprehensive estimates.Develop and implement estimation procedures and standards.Mentor and guide team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.Analyse project requirements, develop cost estimates, and work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure project success.Manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.Support business development by identifying opportunities, participating in bids, and managing client engagement.Maintain compliance with HSEQ standards and promote a culture of safety and integrity.What You'll Bring : Strong analytical skills with a background in estimation, costing, and financial controls within SMP, Civils & Piping.Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a team, with effective delegation and performance management skills.Strong understanding of contract and commercial management, including risk analysis, tender processes, and budget management.Ability to build and maintain client relationships, communicate effectively, and provide high levels of client satisfaction.Commitment to refining estimation practices and driving efficiencies in processes.Why Join Us?
