Air Liquide | Proposal Engineer

As a Proposal Engineer / Product Engineer, you will be involved in the Product team phase to support the Business Developers team by providing technical solutions, managing suppliers' quotations, and technical clarification.
You will support the Proposal team on cost sheet file building and collect price and data from suppliers.
You will support the Product team on technical studies in case of non-standard requests.
You will evolve in several technical domains such as safety, compressor, process, and local regulation in close coordination with the Product Manager, Design Authorities, and Business Developers.
Your tasks will include supporting business developers, staying informed about new product designs, finding local and overseas suppliers, and preparing specifications and P&ID within several countries (Korea, Australia, France, Japan).
You will also participate in the project execution phase to follow price and technical changes and will be able to create, modify, and review the technical documentation (P&ID, RFQ, PFD, and others).
How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW? Proposal development phase: Price estimation of the product focusing on supplier contacts:Build a cost sheet tool based on the global proposal team template.Collect standard prices from suppliers and past projects, and update as necessary.Capitalize on the global specifications updated.Drive a strong and effective capitalization by contacting the global team for product improvements, updated specifications, and supplier choices.Support the development of innovative solutions by communicating with local suppliers for technical solutions and obtaining budgetary quotations.Write and update components datasheets and technical specifications for main equipment.Conduct technical clarifications with Vendors/Subcontractors and evaluate technical bids.Follow up on Vendor's design documentation submission and internal reviews.Build specifications with the product team members for non-standard requests.Create and update the Engineering Drawings such as PFDs, Layouts, PIDs, etc.Support Business Developers to build competitive proposals and actively update the cost sheet.Support Project Execution Team: Support the project execution team regarding Vendor's documentation and manufacturing follow-up.Follow up on project execution, price changes, and technical changes.Depending on business needs, domestic and overseas business trips will be required.Are you a MATCH? Master's or Bachelor's degree in engineering.Minimum 3 years of experience in the Gas/Chemical Engineering industry.Fluent in Korean and business level in English.Preferable: Gas 3rd or 2nd Grade (????? ?? ????), Engineer Gas 1st Grade (????) is a plus.About Air Liquide With approximately 64,500 employees in 78 countries, we serve over 3.8 million customers and patients.
