About the role
Focused on Care is seeking a male In-Home Team Leader to join our team in the Glass House Mountains, Queensland.
This is a full-time hybrid role supporting our client with their support needs.
What you'll be doing Working directly with our client in his home in Glass House MountainsSupervising and coordinating a team of support workers to deliver high-quality care to our clientDeveloping and implementing care plans to meet the individual needs of the clientEnsuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards in the delivery of disability support servicesProviding coaching, mentoring and training to support workers to continually develop their skillsCollaborating with clients, their families and broader care team to provide holistic careMonitoring and evaluating the quality of care provided and making improvements as neededParticipating in the on-call roster to provide emergency support to clients and care workersWeekly travel to the Brisbane office to meet with other leaders in the organisationWhat we're looking for Experience in a similar in-home care team leader or supervisor role (ideally)Strong knowledge of disability support regulations and best practicesExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients, families and care workersProven leadership and people management capabilities to effectively coordinate a teamHighly organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise competing demandsA compassionate and empathetic approach to supporting vulnerable clientsRelevant tertiary qualifications in aged care, disability support or a related fieldWhat we offer Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for ongoing training and professional developmentSupportive and collaborative team environmentEmployee assistance program and well-being initiativesFlexible roster to support work-life balanceAbout us
