We are a Catholic Coeducational Secondary College with two campuses, set on approximately 20 hectares of beautiful gardens and playing fields.
MacKillop is a college in the Josephite tradition, inspired by the spirit of St Mary of the Cross MacKillop; we invite passionate engagement in lifelong and authentic learning, respect diversity and support every person in the pursuit of excellence.
MacKillop is an innovative learning community offering contemporary facilities, a vibrant curriculum and supportive wellbeing programs that are respectful and responsive to the individual needs of approximately 1,730 students from Years 7-12.
About the roleWe are seeking a dynamic educator to join our team of Learning Area Leaders and play a pivotal role in implementing a contemporary and consistent approach to the Design Technology learning experience across the College.
In this role you will collaborate closely with Teachers in the development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum and educational resources, ensuring there is alignment to the MacKillop College learning goals and educational strategies.
This position will be part of a team of Learning Area Leaders who together will cultivate a culture of professional relationships, and a commitment to excellence in pedagogy.
To be successful, you will need to have current and practical knowledge and experience in the Design Technology learning area, with the capacity to be an authentic role model and mentor to Teachers.

The successful applicant will commence Term 1, 2025 as a permanent Teacher, with a position of leadership (POL 2 + 200 minutes of release time) allocated until January 2027.
