The CLIENT: A well-established commercial builder with projects nationally is looking to add to their team a COMMERCIAL ESTIMATOR in VIC.
With over 12 years in the industry and their fast growth within the commercial sector, they are looking to increase the number of projects within this space.
THE ROLEReporting to Senior Management, you'll work closely with the internal team and the business's clients to ensure project estimates are correct, competitive, and in-line with customers' requirements.
Your focus is providing clarity to all stakeholders involved.
You will be expected to have the capacity to operate autonomously.
General ResponsibilitiesPrepare estimates for cost of materials and equipment for contract bids, quotations, schematic drawings, and specifications.Liaise effectively with suppliers, contractors, and customers to ensure tenders are completed.Regular attendance to site to meet with.Prepare tender handover documentation.Work independently without.Processing project variations in a timely and professional manner.SKILLS/EXPERIENCE3-5 years' experience on Fit Out or Commercial construction projects.Experience in pricing jobs from $1 million - $15 million will be required.Strong time management and communication skills - written & verbal.Proven history of estimating retail projects in-line with budgets, specifications, and timelines.Good understanding of Australian Building Standards.BENEFITS$120K - $150K package
