As Rehab Assessment Service Lead your responsibilities will include:
Coordinating the timely assessment and admission of prospective rehabilitation patients into our hospitals across multiple catchment areas that cover metropolitan Melbourne Leading a group of health professionals to support the promotion and growth of rehabilitation services Developing relationships with key stakeholders including referring hospitals, doctors, nurses and allied health professionals Healthscope's Victorian Rehabilitation Hospitals include The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre (Glen Waverley), North Eastern Rehabilitation Centre (Ivanhoe) and Dorset Rehabilitation Centre (Pascoe Vale).
As one of the largest networks of private rehabilitation facilities in Australia, our hospitals have a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties.
We offer a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.
Selection Criteria:
Degree in Nursing or Allied Health discipline Current AHPRA registration Demonstrated ability to lead a team of health professionals Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Prior experience in rehabilitation and understanding of rehabilitation guidelines desirable Applications close: 16th January 2025
