Come join us for you, for better, for the best.The role:Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this role supports the project team in delivering the Club's masterplan strategy.
You will lead the day-to-day facilities and oversee project operations across all venues of PLCG including Parramatta Leagues Club, Vikings Sports Club, Dural Club and all other property owned by the group.
You will be supported by a Maintenance Manager, Facilities Coordinator and an experienced Maintenance team.Duties include, but are not limited to:Lead contract negotiation, establish formal service agreements with preferred contractors, oversee and manage service levels of all contractors.Oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of all facilities and maintenance across the Clubs, ensuring optimal functionality of systems, equipment, and infrastructure.Create a pre-emptive maintenance schedule for the whole group assets.Facilitate and lead projects, continuously monitor project progress against key milestones, deliverables and timelines, keeping a watchful eye on resource constraints, potential bottlenecks and/or risk.Lead and manage a team consisting of the Facilities Coordinator, Maintenance Manager, and Maintenance staff, ensuring effective collaboration and performance.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and legislation, promptly identifying and reporting any hazards accurately and in a timely manner.About you:Minimum 2 years' experience as a Property, Facilities or Maintenance manager or similar role.Tertiary Qualifications in Project Management/ relevant discipline, or substantial experience in a similar role.Demonstrated excellence in project management, with a proven ability to successfully implement projects on time and within budget.Demonstrated ability to motivate, lead and manage a small team.Ability to engage and communicate clearly with team and liaise with all levels of the organization.Previous experience in delivering strategic projects in hospitality (desirable).Committed to promoting a safe working environment by actively understanding and applying the risk analysis process related to Health, Safety, and the Environment.Why you should join PLC GroupFree tickets to Parramatta Eels home games and discounted Eels merchandise.Free Onsite parking.Free Staff meals and soft drink.Generous monthly staff awards and recognition program.Fun - we work hard and play hard with regular social events for staff.Access to over 300+ retailer discounts.Ongoing training & development and the opportunity to complete Certificate III in Hospitality.Our Values:Service - We lead through serving one another, our members and community, with excellence.Passion - We bring passion to what we do and strive for excellence.Openness - We demonstrate integrity, openness, honesty, accountability, and courage.Respect - We are welcoming, inclusive, and respectful.Teamwork - We work together to achieve unity and success through collaboration.How do your skills match this job?Sign in and update your profile to get insights.Hospitality & Tourism 101-1,000 employees#J-18808-Ljbffr
