UNSW College is looking for a Regional Manager (Middle East, Pakistan, Emerging Markets) to join our wonderful Student Recruitment Team
The successful candidate will be organised & responsive, has experience working with a wide range of nationalities & cultures and have worked in similar roles before with Middle East and/or African market.
What will you do?
This position is responsible for the recruitment of international students for all academic and English courses provided by UNSW College, and supporting the promotion of UNSW a world top 20 University.
The role will also assist in supporting the College's strategic priority of growing TNE in key source countries.
The position will be focused on driving recruitment from the Middle East, with particular focus on sponsored students.
Responsibility for secondary markets includes: Pakistan, Africa, Europe, Central Asia, and Onshore Australia Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Achieve annual sales targets for UNSW College pathways programs, working to increase the number and quality of applicants.
Contribute to the development and execution of the College's annual strategic and recruitments plans.
Develop and implement effective student recruitment strategies for the MEPEM markets, working with UNSW College colleagues, as well as with the UNSW Student Recruitment and Sponsorships Teams.
In collaboration with the Manager, Sponsored Students, identify, develop and implement a strategy to grow the network of sponsorship bodies with whom the College, and UNSW more broadly, collaborates.
The successful applicant will have (but not limited to): Fluency in Arabic language Completion of a degree in marketing or communications, or extensive experience and management expertise, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
Tact and professionalism in negotiation with stakeholders, clients and government bodies when handing complex enquiries.
Demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders in a service-based environment.
