About the RoleA Digital Marketing Lead will:
Provide clear expectations, make decisions and hold teams accountable for kicking goals.Act with honesty and integrity, address issues and treat others fairly.Manage risk and empower the team to deliver results.Support the team to act in the best interests of our customers through genuine interactions.Challenge the status quo by supporting digital advancements and innovative solutions to new ways of working.Promote flexible work practices, forming teams rapidly to deploy solutions for ever-shifting demands.Model teamwork, leverage and manage the team's strengths to deliver results and support others.Build teams that prosper from diversity of ideas and approach and celebrate inclusivity.Create an environment where safety and wellbeing are prioritized and actioned, and people are motivated towards meaningful work and common goals.What will your day look like?Lead the strategic direction and ongoing optimisation of the digital marketing program.Drive best practice innovation through strategic use of digital and social marketing channels, data, technology and analytics, and drive demonstrable business outcomes.Deliver and implement effective digital marketing to contribute to customer and financial objectives.Identify opportunities to test and learn to drive marketing effectiveness of existing and new digital marketing programs.Work closely with the Media Agency to evolve the always-on digital marketing program & ensure activity is delivering outcomes for the business.Utilise Marketing & Analytic platforms to share regular reporting & insights to the business.Manage digital media budgets and ensure ROI.Define and develop ongoing new strategic initiatives for the Digital Marketing program.Lead a team to execute key digital marketing performance activity.Maximise ROI of digital marketing programs and focus on continual improvement.Lead the sharing of insights and experience to relevant workgroups and stakeholders on best practice digital marketing programs.Work collaboratively with B&W teams and with the wider IPP Brand and Marketing team and wider Suncorp Bank stakeholders such as Product, Digital, Risk & Legal teams.What will you bring?To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Tertiary Degree in Business or Marketing.Work experience in a Digital Marketing environment.Expertise in managing and implementing digital performance media programs (SEM, Display, Affiliates, Social).Experience with optimising & utilising Google platforms such as Analytics 360, SA & Data Studio or equivalent and Adobe Analytics.Agency / Consultancy based experience is advantageous and sound knowledge of the workings of media & creative agencies.Proven ability to manage a team and set clear direction and goals, and initiate and manage change.Knowledge of Marketing automation technology.Excellent strategic planning skills to drive business benefit and maximise opportunities.Ability to predict future trends and developments in digital marketing.Ability to communicate complex and detailed information simply and effectively.Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills and embrace a 'Test and learn' ethos.Expertise in managing budgets & financials.Highly effective communication and consulting skills.Strong strategic and conceptual thinking skills.You're not expected to have 100% of these skills.
