Responsibilities: Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team culture focused on continuous improvement.Provide mentorship and support to clinical staff and external service providers, ensuring professional growth and adherence to performance standards.Develop and execute strategies for the recruitment, retention, and engagement of clinical staff and contractors.Clinical Governance & Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure compliance with Aged Care/Disability Standards and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS).Implement AVWA's Clinical Governance Framework, monitoring adherence to policies and managing clinical risks.Build and maintain robust relationships with healthcare providers, clients, families, and external partners to deliver integrated, personalized care.Operational Management: Lead the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care across internal and external teams.Monitor client assessments, outcomes, and satisfaction to identify and implement improvements.Oversee clinical incidents and ensure adherence to Work Health and Safety (WHS) standards.Develop and deliver clinical training programs, ensuring all staff are equipped to meet industry standards.Audit & Compliance: Stay updated on clinical regulations and industry best practices.Collaborate with the ADS Quality, Risk & Compliance Specialist to prepare for and participate in audits.Maintain compliance with all relevant legislative and organizational standards.The above list is not exhaustive, and the role may change to meet the overall objectives of AVWA.
Fulfil other duties as required by management and other department personnel as requested/required.
Who You Are: Registered Nurse (Division 1) with active AHPRA registration.Minimum 5 years of experience in a clinical management role.Comprehensive understanding of aged care and disability services legislation.Proven success in leading teams, driving quality improvements, and managing clinical operations.Experience working with CALD (Culturally and Linguistically Diverse) communities, particularly older individuals and disability participants.Proficiency in stakeholder management, time management, and problem-solving.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Proficiency in English; Vietnamese language skills highly regarded.Your application will include the following questions:
