We only hire the best people who share our passion and values.We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis in our Melbourne office.Your RoleAs a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the growth of our business by identifying, developing and winning sales with new and existing clients. We require a passionate and accomplished sales person who has experience selling IT Managed Services, Projects, Products and Professional Services.Your ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and increase market share with a focus on Victoria.Prospect, identify and engage potential clients through various channels including existing networks, vendors and lead generation activities.Work with our Account Managers and Customer Success Teams to identify and develop opportunities amongst our existing client base.Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers.Manage the end-to-end sales cycle, from opportunity identification, proposal writing, contract negotiation to closing.Present and demonstrate to potential clients the value and impact of VISITS' Managed Services and other offerings.Collaborate with the technical team to tailor IT solutions to meet customer needs.Stay updated on the latest IT trends, products, and industry developments to effectively communicate our competitive advantages.Conduct research on target industries and companies to understand their specific IT needs and challenges.Attend industry events and conferences to represent the company and expand your professional network.Actively engage with partners/vendors to facilitate deal success.Your Experience & SkillsMinimum 2 years' experience in selling IT Managed Services, projects and/or professional services.Good working understanding of technology.Previous experience working for an MSP, Telco or similar business is a significant advantage.Track record of achieving sales targets.Excellent written skills with proposal writing experience.Skilled in public speaking and delivering engaging presentations.Desirable to have experience selling Microsoft cloud technologies.Desirable to have a solid existing network of possible target accounts, referral sources and vendors/partners.You will be Working WithYou will work with other members of the Sales Team including Account Managers and Senior Management.You will be supported by a pre-sales, quoting and procurement team.A competitive base with uncapped commissions.Sales training and professional development.Melbourne (St Kilda Road) head office, parking and lots of staff amenities including breakfast, snacks, light lunches, drinks and café-quality coffee free to staff all day.Great team culture, regular Friday night drinks and social gatherings.Hybrid work arrangements (typically 3 days per week in the office).Novated leasing, including FBT-free leasing of electric cars (where eligible).Savings on IT equipment and home NBN, which you get at cost.This is a permanent full-time role.
