Responsibilities Supporting the Head of School and representing the School at various forums, this position will be responsible for the following:
Promote Excellence in Research and Leadership within the Monash School of Nursing and Midwifery (MNM)Mentoring and guiding novice academics and students in their academic and professional journeys, nurturing their growth and developmentLeading ground-breaking research, publishing scholarly articles in reputable nursing and midwifery journalsCollaborating on interdisciplinary research to advance healthcare knowledge and practiceProviding expert guidance in the development of nursing and midwifery research proposals and grant applicationsParticipating in faculty meetings, committees, and fulfilling assigned administrative dutiesEngaging in continuous professional development to stay at the forefront of nursing and midwifery education and practiceContribute to academic and administrative leadership within the Faculty by participating in the development of policy and strategyYour Qualifications Doctoral degree in Nursing or Midwifery (Ph.D., or equivalent)Current registration as a Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA).Proven track record of excellence in teaching, research, and clinical practiceDemonstrated leadership and mentorship skillsActive involvement in professional organizations and a commitment to ongoing professional developmentExperience in curriculum development and innovative teaching methodologies would be advantageousWhat We Offer A dynamic and supportive academic environment that fosters personal and professional growthAccess to state-of-the-art facilities and resources to facilitate research and innovationCompetitive compensation package commensurate with qualifications and experienceOpportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking with leading experts in the healthcare fieldAbout Monash University At Monash,work feels different.
