About the Opportunity   As the NSW Managing Director, you will lead the organisation's largest and most dynamic operation, overseeing service delivery across multiple regions.
Reporting to the Executive General Manager, you will drive operational excellence, financial sustainability, and cultural transformation while ensuring compliance with stringent contractual KPIs.
This high-impact role requires fostering innovation, developing key stakeholder relationships, and championing productivity improvements to position the business for future growth.
Key responsibilities include:  Delivering on operational, financial, and contractual targets across multiple service regions.
Driving efficiency and innovation through strategic productivity programs.
Building strong relationships with government stakeholders, unions, and suppliers.
Leading a large, unionized workforce to achieve excellence in service delivery and workplace culture.
About You You are a proven operational leader with extensive experience managing large-scale, contract-driven businesses.
You thrive in high-pressure environments requiring strategic thinking, operational precision, and exceptional stakeholder management skills.
Your expertise in navigating unionized workforces, financial management, and service improvement positions you as a change leader ready to make a lasting impact.
You are commercially astute and understand how to assess, measure, and implement changes that drive profitability and efficiency.
You may come from a background in industries such as transport and logistics, aviation, government services (infrastructure), public transport, or similar sectors, and you excel at leading large, unionised teams through transformational change.
