Get swept up in the magic of the Southern Great Barrier Reef at your new home, NRMA Agnes Water Holiday Park, located in the twin towns of Agnes Water and 1770, on the Southern Great Barrier Reef.
It is a one-and-a-half-hour drive from both Bundaberg and Gladstone, and a five-and-a-half-hour drive from Brisbane.
Situated right on the beach, NRMA Agnes Water Holiday Park is the perfect base to explore the Reef and Queensland's northernmost surf breaks.Job DescriptionCommencing in late October 2024, this is a contract management position.
Together, you will have strong leadership and a customer-centric and hands-on approach.
We welcome a couple with fresh eyes, energy and enthusiasm.
A willingness to learn and drive a guest-focused park will be key to your success.
There is no Managers residence available on site at this property.This is an exciting and rewarding offering and is a lifestyle choice for the right couple.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will operate a profitable and sustainable business.
A small and very manageable park, with a range of accommodation options from Beach houses, to Villas, to Beachfront Studios and Safari tentsManagement teams must either possess or be prepared to trade as a Proprietary Limited Company (PTY LTD) and have their own ABN.
In addition, management teams will need to demonstrate financial capacity to purchase plant and equipment (if you do not already have this).
Management teams can expect to earn base income, plus the opportunity to earn additional income through commercial ventures you may choose to operate onsite.What You'll DoEngage and manage employeesEnsure top class guest experience as your priorityManage all areas of park operationsA suitable level of fitness with a flexible approach to workloads and a can-do attitudeManage financials (budgets & planning) with a refined sense of commercial acumenLead by example ensuring efficient management practices are employed, maintaining compliance with safety and statutory standardsWhat You'll BringCurrent First Aid and CPR - essentialA successful management team will consider themselves confident, 'all-rounders' and have complementing skills to ensure they can effectively deal with the various challenges faced in a very busy holiday park environment.
This varied role will see you build and maintain successful relationships with employees, guests and key stakeholders.We offer competitive contract terms and ongoing support from our Operations staff who will induct you to our company and methodologies.
