Role Overview:
The APP Group is a leader in the transport industry, dedicated to driving innovation and excellence across sectors such as Ports, Rail, and Road.

We're looking for a dynamic Transport Executive in Business Development to join our team and help shape our growth strategy.
In this pivotal role, you will identify and capitalise on high-impact opportunities across diverse transport sectors, driving a robust pipeline that enhances The APP Group's market presence and revenue growth.
You will foster long-term relationships with key executive stakeholders, positioning the APP Group as a trusted advisor and delivering bespoke solutions that increase client satisfaction.
Responsibilities: Lead comprehensive market research and analysis of the transport industry to uncover high-impact opportunities across Ports, Rail, and Road sectors.Develop a prioritised pipeline of prospects based on strategic alignment, market trends, and revenue potential.Build and maintain robust relationships with key executive clients and stakeholders, gaining insights into their upcoming projects.Collaborate with the APP Transport Executive Team and the Chief Development Officer to align business development strategies with overall company goals.Craft innovative strategies for entering new markets and enhancing our footprint with established clients.Create competitive, client-centric proposals that align with our business objectives.Architect and execute strategies to convert identified opportunities, focusing on relationship management and solution-oriented proposals.Represent the APP Group at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to enhance visibility and attract new business opportunities.About You: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is desirable.Extensive knowledge of the transport industry, with a proven track record in sectors such as Ports, Rail, and Roads.Demonstrated ability to convert and retain business, showcasing a deep understanding of client needs and effective relationship management.Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify and prioritise high-impact business opportunities.Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a proven capability to influence stakeholders at executive levels.A rewarding career: Strive forward with purpose.
