Salary: AUD 100,000 - 125,000

About the role
The role is part of the Deposits team in Country Banking Australia, assisting with the execution of the road-map for Deposits and facilitating improvement initiatives that deliver simplification, automation of processes, and consistency of services across the department.
The role will represent as a key Deposits business SME on all impacting projects, leading requirements gathering and execution of improvement initiatives across Deposits.
The role will support policy, procedure, and collateral amendments and continuous improvement initiatives across the Deposits business, as well as supporting critical strategic initiatives impacting the Deposits business.
Where applicable, the role holder will act as a conduit between the business and IT to prioritize backlog items for delivery.
The business requires someone to champion initiatives that identify and promote opportunities to enhance customer experience and drive efficiencies within Deposits and across the E2E process collectively.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Analysis and Solution Definition
Elicit and analyze business needs in partnership with stakeholders.
Review and edit requirements, specifications, and business processes related to proposed solutions.
Develop functional specifications and system design specifications for business line engagements.
Help create solutions that enable Deposits to meet its goals.
Translate business line demands into solutions, analyzing needs and making proposals for improvement.
Identify business line strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement.
Contribute to the development and implementation of Deposits digital plans, business plans, and budgets.
Build a feedback loop with clients to capture changing customer needs.
Ensure high customer satisfaction and maintain high customer advocacy rates.
Ensure compliance with the bank's policies and procedures, including Audit, Compliance, and Business Continuity.
Contribute to the achievement of the Bank's CSR goals and adhere to CSR policies.
Project/Initiative Execution
Assist in enforcing project deadlines and schedules.
Incorporate stakeholder feedback accurately.
Deliver high-quality services to project stakeholders.
Understand components of running a fiscally successful project.
Perform other duties as directed.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in business, finance, agriculture, or related discipline.
Proven experience in a similar role or within banking, finance, or agriculture.
Strong knowledge of the Deposits industry and processes.
Understanding of Risk Management and regulatory obligations within financial services.
Ability to manage projects.
Ability to develop knowledge of the AgTech industry.
High level of written and verbal communication.
Proactive, adaptable, and flexible approach to work.
Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
