Content Creator – Jack Nimble

The Content Creator is responsible for capturing engaging content (shot on phone and sometimes cinema cameras) and edited for social platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube.
Looking for someone with an understanding of trends, video filters, techniques, and subtitles.
Please note, only candidates with rights to work and live in Australia will be considered for the role. RESPONSIBILITIESConcept, develop and produce highly engaging social content;Attend team brainstorms, gather and propose ideas/references for upcoming projects;Manage multiple creative assignments in a hands-on fashion at all stages of development, from project start through post;Work closely with directors, creative directors, art directors, production designers, photographers, writers, etc.
to develop treatments and scripts when required;Manage workflow and project deadlines with the producer;Organise and when required attend site recces;Organise and manage gear check for external DOPs and other crews;Research new editing techniques, and stay current on the latest video trends and emerging content types;Attend shoots as director of photography/videographer;Record and monitor audio when necessary;Think on feet quickly to resolve creative problems as fast as possible;Be a collaborative member on set when assisting other directors of photography;Ensure captured footage is data wrangled appropriately;Ability to edit video recordings to a very high standard using a variety of software like Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and After Effects;Ability to take creative direction when editing and comply with client feedback;Ability to create and edit motion graphics, animation, and transitions when necessary;Ensure that all videos meet the encoding/exporting standards for the desired platform;Ensure that all videos meet the needs of a varying audience of ability through the use of captioning and other forms as needed;Ability to colour grade and source music/sound effects for each project;Encode and archive online videos, and manage Jack Nimble's backup systems;Produce proactive content pieces for Jack Nimble's social channels.SKILLS1-3 years of experience in content creation or a related field.
Shooting and editing is a must.Experience in or a strong understanding of creative agency operations is preferred but not mandatory.WHAT TO EXPECTContinuous learning is a huge part of our workplace culture.
