With multiple locations nationwide, Insignia is widely recognised as experts in identification and traceability, and work with world-leading brands in thermal printing, barcoding, data capture, marking & coding.
Industries Insignia partners with include transport & logistics, 3PL, food & beverage, industrial, retail, and pharmaceutical, to name a few.
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager / Account Manager to drive new business opportunities (30% new business and 70% existing valued clients with potential for growth).
Reporting to the National Sales Manager, this will be a challenging, autonomous, and rewarding role, providing solutions to help customers identify and track their products throughout their supply chain.
Key responsibilities: End-user and corporate salesBuild business within existing accountsHunt for new customersWalk production/operation lines, identifying opportunitiesWillingness to learn & develop product knowledgeFacilitate & communicate between departments for smooth transition of orders/practicesContribution to marketing and business strategyAbout you: Previous experience in business development or sales representative rolesRecognise business opportunities and actively seek out new business and close salesTake ownership of actions; enjoys dealing with people and providing excellent customer serviceWilling to think outside the box to offer customers products and solutions which add value to their businessEstablishes open and trusting relationships with a variety of stakeholders, including customers and internal stakeholdersHas the ability to write and communicate concisely and persuasivelyExperience and knowledge using a CRM platform (experience with Microsoft CRM desirable)Medium to high skills in MS Suite of products2+ years in a role involved in face-to-face customer meetingsKnowledge of the labelling and VIP (Thermal Printing, Scanning and Mobile Computing) industry, major competitors, and Insignia customers (is an advantage but not a prerequisite)What we offer: A competitive salary package to be negotiated with the right candidateOpportunities for professional development and growthCompany events and incentivesA health and wellbeing program so you feel supported to be at your bestTraining and development opportunitiesApplications: We want to hear from you if you are excited by our culture and motivated to contribute to Insignia's success
