About the role:
This is a full-time opportunity in Melbourne, reporting to the National Sales Manager – Labels and VIP (Thermal Printing, Scanning and Mobile Computing).
As the BDM / Account Manager, you will drive new business opportunities (30% new business and 70% existing valued clients with potential for growth).
This will involve many aspects of business development, such as:
End-user and corporate sales Build business within existing accounts.
Hunt for new customers Walk production/operation lines, identifying opportunities.
Willingness to learn & develop product knowledge.
Facilitate & communicate between departments for smooth transition of orders/practices.
Contribution to marketing and business strategy This role promises challenge and variety every day, with the opportunity to work with like-minded business professionals.
Industries insignia partners with: transport & logistics, 3PL, food & beverage, industrial, retail, and pharmaceutical to name a few.
The position's remuneration will be commensurate with your experience and include a base salary, on-target and stretch commission, and car allowance (all working tools included).

Has experience and knowledge using a CRM platform (experience with Microsoft CRM desirable).
Medium to high skills in MS Suite of products.
Previous experience in business development or sales representative roles.
2+ years in a role involved in face-to-face customer meetings.
Previous experience in a new business sales role (is an advantage but not a pre-requisite).
Car Licence.
Own a car.
Knowledge of the labelling and VIP (Thermal Printing, Scanning and Mobile Computing) industry, major competitors, and insignia customers (is an advantage but not a prerequisite).
