Scope of Position
The Marketing Generalist – EDM & Communications Manager is a key member of the Mathiou Services team, responsible for managing day-to-day marketing activities while contributing to long-term strategies.
This role is crucial in developing marketing and promotional plans to strengthen our presence in existing and emerging markets.
Key Responsibilities
This role involves key responsibilities across our Head Office and National Offices, including but not limited to:
Campaign Management: Develop, manage, and execute email marketing campaigns (EDMs) to engage clients and generate leads.
Content Creation: Plan, create, and manage content for social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram) to drive engagement and brand awareness.
Promotional Materials: Design and deliver brochures, advertisements, newsletters, and expo materials.
Digital Marketing: Lead digital campaigns, including SEO, Google Ads, and retargeting strategies, to attract and retain clients.
Website Management: Manage and update our WordPress website to ensure it is current, functional, and SEO-optimised.
Analytics & Reporting: Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, assessing against goals (ROI and KPIs).
Event Coordination: Organise and attend industry expos and internal staff events on behalf of Mathiou Services.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build relationships with industry alliances and manage community and youth sponsorships.
Compliance & Brand Management: Work with key stakeholders to ensure compliance with brand standards.
Team Support: Actively support the implementation of the Integrated Management System and assist other teams as required.
Qualifications and Experience
Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, or Business (preferred).
At least 3-4 years of experience in a marketing leadership or generalist role.
Proven ability to deliver successful marketing plans and advertising campaigns.
Experience managing WordPress, Google Analytics, AdWords, and major social media platforms.
Proficiency in Adobe Suite and other design tools.
Strong analytical and market research skills.
