Hays Recruitment – Sydney Western Suburbs NSWEmployee Relations Manager needed for a newly created role working for a Global Business based in Western Sydney.Your new companyWorking for a large global business with over 1000+ employees in ANZ regarding global business with a mix of white and blue collar workforce across ANZ. Newly created ER specialist role managing a small team. Established to become the SME for the business whilst supporting the wider HR BP team.Your new roleBased at their amazing HQ offices in Western Sydney, you will be part of a fantastic, supportive and engaging HR team, whilst managing and mentoring a small team. Key responsibilities of the role will include:Being the subject-matter expert on all Employee Relations (ER) and Industrial Relations (IR)Coaching and advising all levels of this large workforce, leadership and making and consulting on key decisions around employee mattersEnd to end performance management in partnership with the People & Culture BPsWorkplace investigations and fairworkAdvising and educating the wider business on all new employment law changes, including the psycho-safety changesRisk and compliance managementWorkers Compensation – this is an important part of the role working closely with outsourced providers and being a key decision maker.Managing a small team that oversees injury management and general WHS for the businessWhat you'll need to succeedTo be considered for this role, you MUST have strong expertise both in practice and in theory across all areas of Employee and Industrial Relations.You will also be experienced in managing and leading on Workers Compensation and partnering with the provider in case management and investigations.This is not a unionised environment but expertise in the ever-changing landscape of employment law, fair work and recent legislation around psycho-safety will be pivotal.The client is open on industry background as long as you have the Workers Compensation expertise, and it is in line with working with a white and blue collar workforce.You will ideally have worked across multiple sites and a head office environment.As you are establishing a brand new position, and Centre of Excellence, you will have strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.What you'll get in returnSalary range is open for the right person with a bonus of 10% on top.Generous benefits and employee offerings as well as on-site facilities for wellbeing.Free parking offered and great offices.Flexible working offers with a 2/3 or 3/2 set up in place.
