They offer their students/tenants not only accommodation, but a place to live well, study hard and have fun.
Your Role We are seeking a General Manager to manage a high-rise building of student accommodation in Melbourne's CBD.
The role will be based in the building and you will have 4 staff report into you, including a Maintenance Manager and Concierge.
The building is owned by a single investor and your duties in this role will include: Ensure student wellbeing is always prioritised.
Be thoroughly familiar with operating agreements and manage the property as per the management agreement and all associated Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Establish and maintain a constructive and productive working relationship with all key stakeholders.
Manage and exceed the property's financial performance as outlined in the Financial Model/Budget.
Maximise the financial return to the company.
Maintain the property to the highest level of cleanliness and presentation as would be expected of a professional property management company.
Pro-actively maintain the building's fit-out and the standard of its equipment.
Your Advantage Seeking a candidate who has managed student accommodation previously, or build to rent, or a hotel.
Or a Property Manager with CBD building experience.
