This is a full-time role reporting to the Marketing Manager.
You will be working Monday to Friday, on-site at our office and state-of-the-art Customer Fulfilment Centre in South Strathfield.
This is not a hybrid role, and free parking is available onsite.
Responsibilities Working alongside the Marketing Manager to develop and deliver social media strategies that drive brand awareness and increase engagement.Managing daily organic social media content across all channels.Undertake influencer outreach by sourcing new influencers and faces to represent the brand and building a brand-aligned list.Managing all social influencer partnerships and strategies including writing influencer creative briefs.Incorporating key marketing strategies and sales campaigns into social media content.Control the social media calendar in collaboration with the wider marketing calendar to plan and schedule social media activity.Reporting on all social media activity to the wider business on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, providing regular insights and recommendations.Managing all content creation, i.e., crafting & editing reels (must be comfortable filming and being in front of the camera with a confident, relatable, and engaging personality), writing captions, posting stories, reels, and posts to the feed daily.Direct and execute mini content shoots when required.Skills & Requirements You must have at least 2-3 years previous experience in social media and content development with a proven track record of implementing effective social strategies to achieve growth across all platforms.Desirable that you have worked in e-commerce or retail business.We want someone with a genuine passion for all things books and social mediaFun, energetic, and outgoing with a natural ability to engage an audience.Familiarity with graphic design tools, i.e., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, etc.Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.Excellent organisational skills, ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a consistent posting schedule.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to craft compelling content and engage diverse audiences.Ability to work collaboratively but also self-motivated to take initiative and execute independently.Sound like the role for you?
