Our entire business is oriented around our ability to cost-effectively deliver sales for our customers.Serious company overview aside, at Social Garden we:Enjoy the journey, not just the outcomeFocus on continual growth and learningKnow everyone has their strengths & as a team we play to themFocus on growth and creating life-changing opportunities for our teamWalk the talk on equality and giving backCelebrate the wins (big and small)Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Strategy: Create and execute a monthly social media posting plan for WeChat and Little Red Book, adapting Western content to resonate with Chinese audiences.Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with account managers, content producers, and client representatives to align strategies with campaign goals.Engagement with KOLs and Ambassadors: Develop and maintain relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) and ambassadors to amplify campaign impact.Content Oversight: Guide video content production, including subtitles and translations, leveraging in-house production capabilities.Reporting and Insights: Write recommendations and provide commentary for monthly performance reports using standard social media analytics tools.• Key Metrics: CTR, post engagement, and follower growth will measure your success in this role.RequirementsExpertise in Chinese Social Media Platforms: Proven experience managing campaigns on WeChat and Little Red Book, with a deep understanding of platform nuances and best practices.Cultural Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the Chinese student experience in Australia and how to create culturally resonant content.Language Skills: Native-level fluency in written and spoken Mandarin is essential; English proficiency is also required.Analytical Skills: Familiarity with social media reporting tools to track and report performance metrics.Collaboration Skills: Ability to work with diverse teams across account management, social media, and content production.Flexibility: While office presence is preferred one day per week, flexibility will be considered for the right candidate.Duration: 6 months with potential for extension.Start Date: Immediate start preferred, ideally by the end of January.Location: Melbourne-based, with flexibility to attend events outside of the one office day per week.How to ApplyIf this sounds like you, please submit your resume, portfolio, and a brief cover letter outlining your experience and suitability for the role.Seniority levelMid-Senior levelEmployment typeContractJob functionMarketing, Public Relations, and Writing/EditingIndustriesAdvertising Services#J-18808-Ljbffr
