The Role As Strategy Director, you will play a pivotal role in Slingshot's mission to deliver innovative, effective media strategies that drive results for our clients.
This is a leadership position where you'll provide strategic direction, guide campaign outcomes, and foster trusted partnerships with clients.
Your work will involve crafting forward-thinking strategies that connect media and creative solutions, leading new business pitches, and mentoring junior team members.
Collaboration across teams and external stakeholders will be key to delivering standout results and pushing boundaries.
You will:
Lead strategy development for both retained and project-based clients, delivering innovative, media-first solutions.
Drive new business pitches by identifying opportunities, creating impactful ideas, and presenting recommendations.
Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure media and creative strategies align seamlessly.
Provide thought leadership, shaping Slingshot's strategy offering and positioning the agency as an industry leader.
Mentor and develop junior team members, sharing your knowledge and fostering their growth.
This Role Is for You If... You have 5+ years of experience in media strategy, communications, or a related field.
You bring energy, presence, and confidence to client presentations and team collaborations.
You thrive on creating innovative strategies and are comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders.
You are adept at translating complex ideas into clear, actionable strategies.
This Role Is Not for You If... You prefer rigid, highly structured environments with limited autonomy.
You're uncomfortable managing multiple clients or fast-paced projects simultaneously.
You lack experience with media strategy tools or delivering strategic recommendations to clients.
