The RoleThe Inclusive Employment Program is designed to provide temporary workplace opportunities and experience for local people who face barriers to employment, for a duration of six months.

In this role, you will collaborate with a Dedicated Playgroup Team at The City of Whittlesea to foster the creation and development of community-led playgroups.
Your primary responsibility will be to enhance the capabilities of playgroup participants by role modelling the setting up of age-appropriate activities, supporting weekly story and song times and embedding routines into playgroups.
Your role will involve empowering community members to actively volunteer and assume leadership responsibilities in the coordination of their weekly playgroup.
About YouWe are looking for someone who has a good understanding of the needs of children and families within the City of Whittlesea, and someone who is looking to build their confidence and skills to enter the workforce.
You will gain local government work experience and references, along with mentorship from a supportive team that will help you grow your social and professional connections.
