Accounts /Payroll Officer - 4 days / weekThe Opportunity:Join our mining client as an Accounts Payable / Payroll Officer in a permanent position in Brisbane CBD.
Work 4 days a week (30 hours) with a dynamic finance team in a supportive and collaborative environment.About the Role:Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include: Process supplier invoices and oversee timely payment runs.Reconcile vendor statements and swiftly resolve any discrepancies.Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.Manage the accurate fortnightly payroll for 40 employees.Ensure compliance with payroll legislation and taxation requirements.Respond promptly and professionally to employee payroll queries.Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities.Support the finance team with various ad-hoc tasks and projects.Keep financial records accurate and up-to-date.What We're Looking For:Demonstrated experience in Accounts Payable and Payroll functions.Strong working knowledge of finance systems (experience with Pulse or SAP highly regarded).Meticulous attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.A proactive attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.Next Steps:Click apply via SEEK or email your CV to to enquire.*Please note only shortlisted applicants will be contacted.
