Are you an experienced Registered Nurse with excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, and a passion for delivering high quality patient care?
About the role Gold Coast Private Hospital is currently looking for an experienced Registered Nurse/ Clinical Nurse to join our team of professionals in providing excellent patient care on a part-time basis of 72 hours per fortnight, working various shifts across a 7-day roster.
This position is in the ICU ward.
Cardiothoracic experience and a Post Grad in Critical Care Nursing or working towards one would be ideal.

With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

Your duties will include Supporting patients throughout their stayMaintaining positive relationships with patients, families, staff, and VMOs from diverse backgrounds and culturesEffectively working within the scope of practice, demonstrating clinical competencies and comprehensive patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of outcomes including recognition and timely response to patient deteriorationLiaising with the multi-disciplinary teamEnsuring patient and staff safetyAssisting nursing staff with the care of patientsTeam leading some shiftsTraining staffCurrent Registration with AHPRACommitment to Quality Patient CareSound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and customer service skillsAbility to work well independently and within a teamWhy Healthscope?
