Our client base is comprised of blue chip corporates, Lloyd's of London underwriters and large local insurance companies and we have been named one of Australia's best places to work; our cool and collaborative office environment reflects that.ResponsibilitiesWorking closely with a successful team of Liability Claims Managers, you will be responsible for managing liability claims for a portfolio of Australian and overseas insurers. The role will involve assessing liability and financial exposure.You will work proactively to make recommendations for the future strategy of each claim, achieving superior results for our clients. Forging relationships with a portfolio of clients, building trust and understanding, in an effort to produce the best outcomes.What will help you succeed in this role?You have experience in the Insurance industry, preferably managing Public Liability claims, and have a Legal qualification and Litigation experience required.Broad understanding of the insurance industryUnderstanding of the Insurance Contracts ActUnderstanding of the Insurance and Privacy CodeUnderstanding the role of brokers and other industry stakeholdersInterpretation of policy/clauses/exclusionsSolid understanding of the client structure, fee structure and invoice processAbility to assess quantum and reserve effectivelyWhat we offer?We are committed to ensuring that each member of our team feels valued and duly rewarded during their time at DWF.
