Core responsibilities: Head of role – Ownership over Financial Operations Change agent - Capability to navigate multiple business stakeholders with different priorities, complex multiple systems and drive change Leadership – Lead, direct, inspire & nurture a team of 50+ accountants to perform at their best and support them to ensure key KPIs are met Process improvement - Drive efficiency, improve reporting, quality, timeliness, standardisation and accuracy Must-have attributes: Know what great looks like, be willing to challenge the status quo to develop the Fin Ops function into a centre of excellence Be willing to have the 'hard' conversations, push back and drive change to fix up processes that aren't working, clarify team scope of work, introduce consistency to workflow and improve overall output Systems Leader – Ability and passion to maximise the capabilities of systems in use, with an open mind to evolve/upgrade them to continuously enhance the value being derived Team Leader – This is a genuine team leadership role, requiring ability to listen, support, problem solve and oversee to lead the team towards 'great' Finance foundations - high level of understanding and expertise in uplifting financial processes with solid technical accounting foundations (CA/CPA qualification) 10+ years of senior finance experience working in large private/listed infrastructure, energy, communications or utilities companies strongly preferred What's in it for you?
