The Amazon Web Services Professional Services team is looking for an Enterprise Service Manager (ESM) that can manage the working relationship with large organizations, develop a long-term Professional Services strategy and execute that strategy within those accounts.
The ESM is a trusted advisor for our largest and most committed customers.
The role includes all aspects of business development, relationship development, sales of Professional Services, delivery oversight, and program management in those accounts.
Key job responsibilities Long term development of large, complex, and distributed enterprisesEngage with customers to understand their business drivers and application portfolioDevelopment of long term Cloud Strategy for customersIdentify & develop specific opportunities and supporting business casesDeal shaping, including estimations and deal pricingContract negotiations & closingPlanning and implementation of a portfolio of projects, including budget & deliverable responsibilitiesMitigation of delivery risks & issuesOverseeing delivery of projects in account, ensuring high quality deliveryAct as single person of contact for customer executives, developing deep, trustful relationsEducate customers on AWS services and translate those into a clear business value propositionEnvision and inspire customersCoaching customers and partners to be self-sufficientBASIC QUALIFICATIONS 7+ years of external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project management experienceBachelor's degreeIT consulting / management / transformation experience in customer-facing rolesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience in cloud based solution (AWS or equivalent), system, network and operating systemExperience in external or internal customer facing, complex and large scale project managementMasters / MBA degree preferredAmazon is an Equal Opportunity Employer – Minority / Women / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation / Age.
