Just Jeans is part of Australia's most successful retail giants 'The Just Group', consisting of 7 brands – Dotti, Jacqui E, Jay Jays, Just Jeans, Peter Alexander, Portmans and Smiggle.About the RoleWe have an exciting opportunity for a Product Coordinator to join our Just Jeans Buying team in our high performing Denim department This role is designed to support the Merchandise Manager across all aspects of the denim buyership, providing an opportunity to develop your skills and demonstrate your passion for productResponsibilitiesManaging order placement process and critical path deadlinesManaging and tracking the sample and production processAssisting the Product Managers in the sampling approval process including fittingsLiaising daily with our offshore suppliers and factoriesAssisting the Product Manager in cost negotiations and product developmentMaintaining effective relationships and regular communication with suppliersCoordinating samples for photo shoots and advertisingSupporting the product team with administrative needsSkills & ExperiencePrevious experience in a product development/buyers assistant or product coordinator role within a buying teamPrevious experience working with denim would be idealStrong negotiation and communication skillsProactive, motivated and likes working in a fast-paced environmentGreat attention to detail and ability to work well under pressureCollaborative team memberAbove all, we are looking for someone with enthusiasm and who is a great team player.
