Eligibility : Open to Everyone Yorke and Northern Local Health Network, Port PirieSalary $29.57 to $31.81 per hour + 25% casual loadingCasual Contracts available (up to 30 June 2025)Overview We are now accepting applications for casual Patient Services Clerks to join our dedicated Patient Services team to provide a high quality, confidential, customer focused administrative service to clients, staff and visitors for Port Pirie Regional Health Service.
As a Patient Services Clerk, you will be responsible for:
Providing registration of inpatient, outpatient, and emergency activity.Providing accurate and timely data processing of patient data.Providing switchboard service to the health unit and Community Health.About You Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, allowing you to effectively interact with patients, staff, and external stakeholders.Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Strong customer service skills.Proficiency in computer operations, including word processing and office administration tasks, with a keen eye for detail in data entry.Adherence to strict confidentiality protocols, maintaining the highest standards of privacy and security in healthcare settings.Please refer to the job pack below for more detailed information on the position, responsibilities, and essential minimum requirements.

Applicant Information This vacancy is for multiple casual positions; working hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked on a casual shift-by-shift basis.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
Check(s) National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position.Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category B.
