Department: Transport Services - Operations - Salvage TeamWe are looking for a reliable, customer-friendly, and fast-learning person to join our Transport Services team.
The position available is a full-time role, working Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm.
This is a hybrid position where the successful candidate will predominantly work from home with regular office days as required (office located in Belmore, NSW).Your main responsibilities will include:Managing a remote team that mostly work from homeThe ongoing allocation and distribution of transport requests to team membersUndertake auditing of transport requests for compliance with requirementsOversee and monitor team productivity to ensure tasks are completed and KPIs are achievedManage escalated issues as required, and positively resolve problemsLiaise professionally and effectively with relevant internal stakeholders, vendors, and customers as requiredManage and approve leave requests of your teamConduct monthly and annual performance discussions and regularly meet with staff as requiredConduct regular team meetings to communicate relevant informationPromote a positive team cultureCoach, train, mentor, and support team members to achieve personal and company objectivesAssist in day-to-day team tasks as required to meet objectivesSome administration tasks updating in various in-house systems will be requiredABOUT YOUTo be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience:Previous supervisor or experience leading teams in a similar administrative role would be advantageous, along with experience in a hybrid work environmentA positive, professional, and engaging phone manner with previous customer service experienceEffective verbal and written communication skills, including high attention to detailEfficient, organised, and able to prioritise competing deadlinesWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOUEmployee Benefits – Earn 5 days' extra leave and enjoy sharing in the company bonus program after a qualifying period, BBQ/Pizza lunches, free on-site parking and moreTraining & Development – On-the-job training to make you an expert in your area, internal career pathing opportunities, and study assistance options to help you complete a course or qualificationCommunity & Wellbeing – Pickles proudly support local events and charities, enjoy paid volunteer leave and access our employee assistance program for you and your familyReward & Recognition – Cash vouchers & recognition awards for doing great work and celebration of long serviceABOUT PICKLESWe're a service company striving to provide a consistent world-class experience and advice for our customers.
