Business Development Manager

Steadfast is a fun and fast growing freight management company based in Yatala.We are currently looking for a sales professional to help grow our National Sales Department.
In this position, you will be reporting directly to the QLD State Manager.
You will lead and manage the growth and retention for all new business opportunities.You will play a pivotal role, that requires the successful candidate to display the disciplines associated with a selling environment that is structured and supported with clear goals and directions.Duties & Responsibilities:Develop a strategic plan for each account, including identifying and developing growth opportunities with strategic customers.Meet agreed new business sales targets.Plan, implement, and evaluate sales activities.Account Management for a portfolio of accounts.Build strong, long-lasting multi-level relationships with customers.About You:Experience within the logistics and supply chain industry.A history in sales/account relationship management.Proven analysis, problem-solving, decision-making, and negotiation skills.Highly motivated.Attractive compensation package, with uncapped earning potential.Tools of trade including car allowance, phone, and laptop.Ongoing training, development, and support.How do your skills match this job?Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?How many years' experience do you have as a business development manager?Do you have experience working with logistics, freight & delivery services?Do you have experience in a sales role?Do you have experience in a role which requires relationship management experience?How many years' experience do you have in a client services/account management role?
