As a Strategic Account Director, you will play a pivotal role in managing major, strategic accounts, establishing strong relationships with key executives, and exceeding sales quotas and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).Your ImpactCreate and drive multimillion dollar, multi year pursuits with key Victorian Public Sector strategic accountsBuild and nurture relationships with key executive stakeholders in the Victorian Public SectorLeverage your consultative selling experience to identify business challenges and create solutions for Victorian Public Sector prospects and our customersUnderstand the Victorian Public Sector competitive landscape and customer needs so you can effectively position the portfolio of Palo Alto Networks solutionsCreate clear goals and complete accurate forecasting through developing a detailed Victorian Public Sector territory planLeverage prospect stories to create a compelling value proposition with insights into value for the Victorian Public SectorStay updated on industry news and trends, and how they affect Palo Alto Networks products and servicesTravel as necessary within your territory, and to company–wide meetingsTake up an indirect leadership role responsible for orchestrating a diverse shared services team to optimise revenues and profitabilityEstablish strong relationships with C–level executives and decision–makers and identify mutually beneficial business opportunities with external partnersProvide credible leadership across various business functions, fostering collaborationDrive revenue–maximising opportunities, utilising Palo Alto Networks' capabilitiesEnhance Total Customer Experience and deliver maximum value through continuous improvementCultivate value–added partnerships, extending Palo Alto Networks' reach and capabilitiesQualificationsYour ExperienceB2B SaaS sales experience, ideally within the Victorian Public SectorRelationships with key executive stakeholders in the Victorian Public SectorUnderstanding of the Victorian Public Sector competitive landscape and customer needsProven track record of leading multi–year, multi million dollar initiativesSuccessful history of direct selling, consulting, and service delivery in the technology industryStrong understanding of various business models and IT profitabilityResilient and credible leadership abilitiesEntrepreneurial mindset, identifying and pursuing substantial growth opportunitiesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong executive presenceExperience and knowledge of SaaS–based architecturesDemonstrated experience selling complex solutionsTechnical aptitude for understanding technology products and solutionsAbility to take a holistic approach to problem solvingExcellent time management skillsAdditional InformationOur Enterprise Sales team is driven, agile, and deeply committed to advancing our industry and creating a safer world.
