As the Assistant Director at Goodstart Springfield Lakes, you'll leverage your expertise and leadership to inspire and motivate your centre team, driving continuous improvement across all areas of centre operations.
Collaborate with our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful and reciprocal relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.
In this role, you will: Support the Centre Director in the leadership of the team to provide high-quality early learning and careMentor and build capabilities within the centre teamBe responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absenceUse and implement the Goodstart Practice GuideAbout Goodstart Thorneside High-Quality Care: Our centre is dedicated to providing high-quality care for children aged from six weeks to five years.

We work closely with local support services to provide ongoing assistance to our families.Learning Framework: All our rooms are thoughtfully set up in accordance with an Early Years Learning Framework, offering sensory and play-based learning opportunities.Effective Communication: We prioritise open and clear communication with parents and families through our Storypark platform, family nights, and emailed newsletters.Outdoor Exploration: Our age-appropriate outdoor play spaces and equipment foster children's awareness of their surroundings and the environment's importance.Community Engagement: We highly value community involvement and offer a dedicated community room along with a community pantry, clothes, and toy swap.Dedicated Music Room: Our facility boasts a dedicated music room where children engage in small group music experiences, enhancing their creativity and love for music.Goodstart Thorneside is not just a child care center; it's a warm and enriching community where children can learn, explore, and thrive while embracing the values of diversity, sustainability, and quality early education.
