Financial Services partner with all areas of CommBank to provide specialist advice, support and services in finance, audit, treasury, property, procurement, climate strategy and investor relations.See yourself in our teamThis role sits in the Financial Services division and provides strategic investment support to Technology which delivers the Group's information technology function to ensure the highest levels of customer service through world-class process excellence and technology innovation.Technology Finance is responsible for the provision of financial control, reporting and planning services to the Technology division.
We work closely with our stakeholders to help them understand their cost base and deliver current and future strategic and financial plans.
Our mission is to "influence strategic outcomes through transparent insights and passionate people".
Your team forms part of the wider Technology Finance Team (approximately 90 people) and provides financial management, planning and controls to Group and Business Unit CIOs.Your team's primary role is to:Provide decision support for Technology's strategic initiatives, including advice on capitalisation of investmentsProvide accurate forecasting, effective management reporting and financial control for strategic investmentsDeliver meaningful insights to drive better business outcomes, including cost optimisation and process simplification.Key duties will include:Provide detailed analysis on Portfolio reporting, providing analysis on financials and forecasts, and raising issues to the Technology division, Technology Finance LT & Group FinanceMonthly investment spend reporting and insight for senior management and Technology Finance LTAssess investment and operational opportunities through the provision of financial advice, modelling and insightAssist the business to optimise their project performance and forecasting, including continuous improvement initiativesIdentifying and escalating issues and ensuring appropriate risk management and financial control practices are in placeContribute to driving productivity and process improvements across the team's processesWe're interested in hearing from people who have:Strong analytical and commercial skills, with demonstrated ability to draw insights from analysisStrong project accounting and financial skillsAdvanced Excel skills for financial modelling and analysisThe ability to guide, advise and influence senior stakeholdersAttention to detail and demonstrated ability to manage multiple deliverables simultaneouslyExcellent verbal, written communication skills and critical thinking skillsIf you would like to hear more about this role please Apply.Advertising End Date: 16/01/2025For further information, and to apply, please visit our website via the "Apply" button below.
