The Project Management Group Lead would be responsible for overseeing a team of project managers and ensuring the successful delivery of projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
Leadership and Management:Lead, mentor, and develop a team of project managers to enhance their skills and performance.Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews to support team members' professional growth.Project Oversight:Ensure project scope and deliverables are clear and documented at project kick-off.Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects, ensuring project managers adhere to best practices and methodologies.Monitor project performance, identify potential risks, and implement corrective actions to mitigate issues.Define and maintain project budgets (Cost per part, ED&D, NRE).Ensure Lumen processes are followed.Stakeholder Management:Act as a primary point of contact for senior management and key stakeholders regarding project status and performance including customers.Facilitate communication between project teams and other departments to ensure alignment and address any interdependencies.Strategic Planning:Collaborate with senior leadership to define project priorities and align them with organizational objectives.Contribute to the development of project management processes and tools.Reporting and Analysis:Prepare and present regular project updates and performance metrics to senior management.Analyze project outcomes and provide recommendations for future projects based on lessons learned.The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
Strong leadership, team-building skills, and communication.Proficient in project management software/tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Trello, etc.
).Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.Bachelor of Engineering (Electronics or Mechanical).If you are interested in this role, please apply using the apply button along with a copy of your updated resume and a covering letter.
