Our significant experience in service delivery is reflected through 40 years of providing quality services and maintaining the highest of standards for our clients. Role Summary The role of the Domestic Support Worker is to provide domestic cleaning support to clients who receive our services.
Responsibilities and Duties The Domestic Support Worker will follow clients' care plans and perform tasks such as:
Dusting open surfacesSweeping and mopping floorsVacuuming around furnitureWiping down countersWashing and putting dishes awayCleaning bathrooms and kitchensTaking out the trashChanging sheets and making the bedOrganizing drawers, shelves, and closetsYou will also be responsible for reporting any maintenance issues or hazards that you identify.
Skills, Attributes and Experience The ideal candidate will be passionate, enthusiastic, and committed, enjoying the support of individuals to help them maintain the cleanliness and comfort of their homes.
Key Requirements include: Possess NDIS Worker Screening Check or willing to apply for one.Rights to work in Australia.Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.Possess Working with Children Check or willing to obtain if required by the role.Previous relevant experience in the health/aged/disability sectors is highly desirable but not essential.
