About the role
Part-time and casual opportunities Morning, afternoon and weekend shifts available Utilise your hospitality skills and contribute to the quality of life for our residents As a Hospitality Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of our kitchen, cleaning & laundry departments, assisting with catering tasks; preparing food and beverages and maintaining supplies.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A positive attitude with a willingness to learn Knowledge of contemporary housekeeping/cleaning practices The ability to work across our cleaning, kitchen and laundry departments Professional presentation Flexibility with shifts A current Food Handling Certificate is desirable Previous work in aged care or healthcare would be looked upon favourably Please note: Our recruitment process involves the successful completion of a functional assessment and the completion of a national police check.

To work for Eldercare, you are required to have a police clearance valid for working in aged care (vulnerable) and clearance needs to be less than 12 months since date of issue.
Under the Emergency Management (Residential Aged Care Facilities) (COVID-19) Direction, to work in a residential aged care facility:
from 1 June 2021, you must provide evidence of your seasonal influenza vaccination or a valid medical exemption from 6 December 2021, you must have two doses of a TGA approved COVID-19 vaccine, or a medical exemption endorsed by the Chief Public Officer or her delegate.
