Account Manager – Perth (WA) Based Why us? Position Purpose The purpose of this position is to establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and potential clients of the Company and negotiate profitable sales to those clients in a professional manner, in order to ensure achievement of gross profit incomes to budget levels established by the Company.
Areas of Responsibility Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume with assigned accountsCoordinates activities on projects with other Account Managers as requiredIdentifies opportunities for new accounts in WAIdentify key buying influences within each project and identify their roleIdentify product and service opportunitiesUse effectively and maintain accuracy of information in internal CRM tools and Interface Advance selling process to document status and progress on all selling opportunitiesTimely and accurate use of the CRM, and meet agreed KPI'sAttend industry functions to develop broad market awareness and develop external awareness of Interface through networking at eventsDevelop and maintain an account map of all identified accountsDevelop territory and customer visit planCo-ordinate the involvement of company personnel to meet customer's expectationsProduces and works to annual plan for product/service review of each client.Demonstrate safe working behavioursExtensive local, interstate and overnight travel will be required.Qualifications and Experience Required 3 years + of Account Management/ B2B Sales experience in the construction industry essentialIndustry or associated industry knowledge.Capable of working professionally, while under pressure in competitive situations.A current driver's licence.An understanding of the financial aspects of the business.Formal qualifications in sales and/or marketing or relevant field would be highly regarded.Our Benefits You will be provided with competitive remuneration and sales toolsGym membership and Health insurance discount, Yearly flu shots and moreYou will be part of a diverse and vibrant team with an excellent culture and direct connectivity to other Australian sales regions.Interface has one of their major global manufacturing plants based in NSW, so you will have the benefit of local manufacturing and the associated advantages that brings to the market.Help us lead industry to love the world.
